Today I am guest posting on Studio Calico’s Instagram feed. One of the pictures highlights the neon Mister Huey colors. Someone asked how to use mists so I thought I should share this video. Besides drops and splashes this shows other ways to use them.
I love how this page by Wilna has lots of details and layering but definitely one that you could scrap-lift! I wanna try misting or painting then diecutting on a future project.
So I took a break since having my baby boy, Myles, but we are back with some amazing layouts and techniques from our party girls. The black and white pic is perfect with the bright colors. I love how she layered all the different diecuts and white hearts. Also how she used the molding paste and my diecut cards. Splashes of black ink is a great artistic touch with the white and bright colors. Awesome work Wilna!
If you want to know more about this technique, I have a whole chapter on molding paste in my Art class at Two Peas In A Bucket.
Today Wilna shares such a beautiful and unique technique for working with ribbon. Once again she takes a product we all have and comes up with a cool way to use it! Love how she sewed strips of ribbon at the top and layered with stickers and chipboard. Check out her video for a full tutorial on how to recreate and lift these fun ideas.
This is a very cool technique using your thickers as a mask and spraying them with mist!
Wilna shares all the details with a video tutorial below:
I have a serious scrap crush on Wilna!
She is so creative and uses products in such inspiring ways! Today she is sharing a very cool video tuturial on how to layer and add dimension with a simple product we all have in our stash–stickers!
This is number 3 of the Creative Techniques from Wilna and she has an incredible video demonstrating a really cool ribbon tutorial. Since we all have hoards of ribbon stashed away let’s give it a try on our next projects. Isn’t she amazing? Thanks Wilna!
