Diecut Journaling instead of a Title

6 Comments Dear Lizzy Products, Scrapbook Pages 12x12

It’s no surprise that I love my Silhouette Cameo. There are endless uses and so many different ways to incorporate it in your crafts and scrapbooking.
For this layout I used it to document the stats of my baby boy, Myles. I don’t have a lot of free time right now to scrapbook but once I diecut the journaling it came together quick and simple. Especially since I wanted that to be the main focus. And clearly it is since it takes up 2/3 of the page. haha

I used a mix of my Lucky Charm collection. Which effortlessly worked for a boy too. Not that I know much about that. ; )

I included this layout in my 2 peas garden this month about milestones.

This month I chose the birth of my baby boy… because it’s probably one of the biggest milestones of his life and because I am unabashedly in love with him. Soaking up all the wonderful things when you have a newborn… and not to mention the challenging transition and lack of sleep. But this quick layout was a perfect start to his scrapbook album, highlighting the details of his grand entrance with my Silhouette-cut journaling and photos taken the first day of his life.
I added a grouping in the bottom left with some of my Dear Lizzy products and Studio Calico wood veneers. The handwriting patterned paper from my Lucky Charm collection with the words, “love you to the stars and back” worked great with this layout.
Can’t wait to tell his story through photos and journaling. :)
